Undergraduate Degree

The Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences (BAAS) is designed for mature adults who need individualized academic programs that award credit for nontraditional forms of learning. It is designed to give working adults an accelerated route to a bachelor’s degree by earning credit for work experience, non-collegiate instruction and test scores. You may receive:

  • up to 24 semester hours for work/life experience
  • up to 30 semester hours for training conducted by business or industry if recognized by the American Council on Education
  • an unlimited number of hours from the College Level Examination Program (CLEP) and Defense Activity for Non-Traditional Education Support (DANTES)
