Ms. Wilson is a native Texan of German and Irish heritage who grew up in a small town.  As a college student in the late 1960s when there was so much turmoil, she realized that issues need to be identified and discussed with respect for the differences in ideology.  Many of the same issues of that time period are still being debated.

She began her career as a high school business teacher and then became a Career and Technical Education work-based learning coordinator.   She joined Texas State University as a faculty member in 1988 and enjoys encouraging adults in the workforce to return to college on a part-time basis to complete a degree.

Ms. Wilson is based at the Round Rock Campus and teaches most courses by distance learning.  She works with area employers and junior college transfer students and focuses on policies and procedures to ensure successful completion of the BAAS degree.
